A4M’s 21st Annual World Congress on Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Aesthetic Medicine to Feature Distinguished Medical Expert Speakers

In preparation of the largest conference and exhibition in the fields of Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Aesthetic Medicine, The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) has released the educational program agenda

The program agenda for the 21st Annual World Congress on Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Aesthetic Medicine includes over 70 speakers, of medical and business expertise. Some special speakers include Harvard University faculty as well as medical university faculty from other parts of the world, and several medical professionals with television, radio, and book accomplishments.

Abraham Morgentaler, MD, FACS is an associate clinical professor at Harvard Medical School, is the Director of Men’s Health Boston and has recently appeared on CBS morning news. His areas of interest include hypogonadism (low testosterone), sexual dysfunction, male infertility, prostate disorders, vasectomy and microsurgical vasectomy reversal. He is the author of The Viagra Myth: The Surprising Impact on Love and Relationships, Male Body: A Physician’s Guide to What Every Man Should Know About His Sexual Health and Testosterone for Life: Recharge Your Vitality, Sex Drive, Muscle Mass, and Overall Health. Dr. Morgentaler will present a pre-conference, specialty workshop on “Testosterone Deficiency & Therapy in Men” on Thursday, December 12th 9:00am-5:00pm. Dr. Morgentaler will also present on Friday, December 13th on the topic of “Testosterone Therapy in Men: Panacea, Scourge, or the Next Big Thing in Medicine?”

Christoph Westphal, MD, PhD is an author and is on the Board of Fellows at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Westphal also co-founded Sirtris Pharmaceuticals in 2004 and served as CEO until April 2010. He currently serves on the Board of Overseers of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Westphal will present on Sunday, December 15th at 10:15am on “Pharmaceutical Approaches to Treating Aging: The Sirtris Story.”

Massimo Dominici is Professor of Oncology & Hematology at the University of Modena in Reggio Emilia, Italy and an author. Dr. Dominici has been as ISCT member since 2001. He is currently a member of the Mesenchymal and Tissue Stem Cells committee and the ISCT Treasurer and has seen the society go from operation at a loss to being profitable. In 2009 he co-founded the forum of Italian Researchers on Mesenchymal Stromal Cells. Dr. Dominici will present on Sunday, December 15th at 9:10am on “Stem Cells: Understanding Aging as a Platform to Enhance Tissue Regeneration.”

Eduardo Mansilla is Professor of Internal Medicine at the School of Medical Sciences at the National University of La Plata, Argentina, former President of the Internal Medicine Society in La Plata, Argentina, Vice President of the Argentine Internal Medicine Federation (FAMI), and former Chairman of the Argentine Diabetes Society, and the Preventive and Immune-Genetic Diabetes Committee. Dr. Mansilla is Director of Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapies Laboratory, CUCAIBA, and Province of Buenos Aires Ministry of Health, Argentina. Dr. Mansilla will present on Saturday, December 14th at 2:20pm on “Could Metabolic Syndrome, Lipodystrophy and Aging be Mesenchymal Stem Cell Exhaustion Syndromes?”
